Anil Narang is Managing Partner of NSG Group Holdings (“NSG”).  NSG is a private equity investor and serves as a principal sponsor behind transactions which have included, among others, acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations and structured buy-outs.  He is actively involved as an investor and director with a number of companies and is able to contribute significant value through years of hands-on operational and board-level experience.       Narang was co-founder and a principal equity sponsor of Alliance Entertainment Corp (“Alliance”) in 1990.  Alliance was the largest independent music company in the United States.  From 1990 through 1995, Narang served in a variety of executive capacities at Alliance including CFO, COO, Vice-Chairman and President.  During his tenure, he completed 18 acquisitions and developed Alliance into the industry’s largest distributor and a substantial owner of music copyrights.  With over 2,000 employees, Alliance was listed on the NYSE and generated 1995 Revenue of over $700 million and EBITDA of $55 million.  Narang and his partners, including Bain Capital, sold control of the Company to Wasserstein Perella in 1996.       Narang and a group of investors created the Interlink Group in 1998 to acquire and consolidate a segment of the magazine industry.  Through organic growth and two acquisitions, Narang was able to grow the business from revenues of $25 million to over $200 million in less than three years.  The parent company, the Interlink Group, was sold to Source Entertainment in 2001 and is currently listed on NASDAQ (SORC) as Source-Interlink.       Narang was co-founder of Sheridan Square Entertainment (“Sheridan”) in 2003.  Sheridan is one of the largest independent record labels in the United States.  From 2003-2007 Narang served as Chairman and Co-CEO and completed a number of high profile acquisitions including Artemis Records, Compendia Music, and V2 North America.  Narang and his partners sold Sheridan to BTP Acquisition Corp in 2007 in a private transaction.       Narang serves on the boards of several corporations and is a trustee of certain charities, foundations and an educational institution.  Narang holds a BA in economics from Colgate University, an MBA in Finance from NYU and has a CPA among other professional accreditations.
